Welcome to the Ormond Angling Club Website

Welcome to the Ormond Angling Club. We have tried our best to create a more up-to-date and more dynamic site for our members and visitors, to keep abreast of the "going's on" in Ormond Angling Club. We have tried to add all the features of the existing site, but with better layout and easier viewing.

Please take a look around, and let us know what you like, what needs to be improved, and any other features that you may want to see added to the site. See the Contact Us page, or for membership enquiries you can ring Mario on 0424 499 746, or Ian on 0407 874 879

Also, visit us on Facebook, for the latest news and pics!

Thank you

2022-2023 Season

Hi fishers - we are now back in our Club Rooms at 462 North Road and back to a full Championship season with the usual 4 trips per category of Bay, Estuary, Freshwater and Surf (total 16 trips, plus any extra social trips and impromptu excursions).

Come along to the Club Rooms on the first or third Wednesday of each month and join in the action.

2021-2022 Season

We are into our (COVID abridged) 2021-2022 season, and it's great to get out with members and friends again.
We have suspended our Club Championship for this season, and instead we are fishing 2 trips per category instead of the usual 4 trips per category (i.e. 2 trps for each of Bay, Estuary, Freshwater and Surf = total 8 trips) from January to June 2022

See you on the water!

2020-2021 Season

We completed our (COVID abridged) 2020-2021 season, and while the weather has been wayward, it's still great to get out with members and friends when we can.
Western Port whiting in particular was a stand-out this season.

And we celebrated with an excellent presentation lunch at the Springvale RSL again.
Congratulations to Michael P for taking out the championship.

2019-2020 Season

In spite of COVID, we still held a shortened competition.
Club Champion was the evergreen Peter Manning, while Judy Green was Ladies champion and runner up in the Club Championship (next year Judy!!) and William Poles won the Junior Aggregate.
We had a great presentation Lunch at the Springvale RSL. and Congratulations to all winners.

And for me, this was the standout memory - an 11kg Mulloway when fishing for bream in the Werribee River - on 8 pound line!!
